Dr. Shabbir Hussain, MD

Dr. Shabbir Hussain is a licensed Family Physician in both Canada and the United States since 2013. Originally from Pakistan, he obtained his medical degree from Dow Medical College and completed his residency training in Family Medicine at University of Texas in Houston with special interest in Geriatric population. Throughout his residency training, he received multiple awards for his dedication and performance.

Dr. Hussain is a member of the College of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Additionally he completed training in HIV medicine from University of Toronto in 2019. His clinical interests include primary preventative care, chronic disease management, HIV care, PreP and geriatric population.  Outside of medicine, Dr. Hussain enjoys staying active, playing sports and active in
charity work for his community.
