Christa places a heavy focus on well-rounded healthfulness, physically and mentally, which includes the treatment of mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety and insomnia.
Christa has also volunteered her time and expertise with the Hands Across Borders Society, where she provided Massage Therapy for residents of Zanzibar, Tanzania as well as the mainland Tanganyika. Through this experience, she gained insight as to the impact that culture and society have on our musculoskeletal balance, and is passionate about integrating this perspective to understand and treat physical manifestations affecting the Downtown community.
Christa graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2011 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Guelph. Additionally, she has completed the Trimesters: Massage Therapy during Pregnancy course and gained hands-on experience in the antenatal and postpartum units of Sunnybrook Hospital.
